All State Piano Audition Requirements

SCALES:
Students auditioning for piano are required to prepare all major scales from memory, both hands together, four octaves, up and down.

SOLO:
Please see the All State Band solo list on the NJMEA website under Band Solos

SIGHT READING:
Sight reading will be required.


All State Harp Audition Requirements Technique

Diatonic scales and chromatic scale will not be required.

Arpeggios-A7, G7, C7; 3 octaves up and down, root position

Glissando-starting on C with B# and Fb pedals
